Kielo Growth is an Oulu-based early stage investor. We are an active participant in Oulu’s
business ecosystem and through the growth of the companies, we aim to develop the
attraction of the area into a blossoming field of success stories.
We work in deep collaboration with Oulu Startup Incubator (OSI).
Kielo was founded in the autumn of 2015, made its first investment in January 2016 and
launched the business community during the same year. In the beginning of 2021 the
community held around 40 companies employing over 150 people.
In the year of 2020 Kielo participated in ten investment rounds, from which six were follow-
on investments. Altogether, Kielo has invested over 1000k euros into 27 startups.
Oulu Startup Incubator is a subsidiary of Kielo and a privately owned business incubator.
Our incubator service entail, among facilities and business community, individual expert
assistance for among other things finance, economic management, internationalization
and other challenges which may appear with growth.
